Finally west valley gets some chic places!!!

Westgate is great! We just had a "ladies night" for one of my moms clubs and we met at Margaritaville for a few hours. It was a great time. I noticed they have a wine bar there as well, which I've heard good things about. I'll have to check it out. You should check out some of the places there. It's a really nice little area with good restaurants/bars.

Now if they could just get some places like that a little further west into the Surprise area I would be ecstatic. Until then, Westgate will have to do!

We like Westgate, too. We haven't experimented much with the newer places, but we hit the Yardhouse regularly. Tons of beer selections and good food. Nice outside seating to people-watch! You may want to check ahead to make sure no concerts are in town. I imagine it's busy on home Coyote games, too.

They also have a Which Wich sandwich shop which was excellent. The theater is nice and the kids love the fountains.

There's a Yardhouse there too if you like beer, and has some great outdoor patio seating for good weather. The Fox Sports Grill sucks in comparison to the one in North Scottsdale. It doesn't even have the tall beers the Scotts one offered I was disappointed. The wine bar was nice and also has great outdoor seating. They opened a Sandbar on I think it's Norther and the 101 near the new Harkins there, and there's a Salty Senorita at Arrowhead where The Monestary used to be.

COOL.. I have friend coming to town in March so I will take her to Westgate then!!! That will be better than driving all the way into Scottsdale!

Now we just need the mall to open out here!
