Snacks on the go

Kindahotmom's picture

I went to the grocery store this morning because we were out of toilet paper – and I mean out, like using Kleenex in lieu of rolled paper – and paper towels. Of course, I came home without toilet paper and paper towels, but I did find a new item: Mann's Sunny Shores Snacks on the Go!

It's a sealed pack of vegetable – celery, carrots and sugar snap peas – all washed and ready to eat, with a little container of light Ranch dressing dip. At Safeway, they're on sale – two packs for $5. Sure, I could make the same thing myself, but who has the time? (No, this is not a paid endorsement; I'm just always looking for ways to cut corners.)

We're going to a Little League game tonight, so I'll take the veggie packs with us to munch on. I guess we'll stop on the way home for toilet paper.

I am all about anything that comes in the individual bags to take places. Thanks for the tip as it is hard to find quick healthy snacks to grab.

Thank you for the information. I love great to go snacks. Seems like I always do the same ones and they get boring. I like to change it up once in awhile :)

Beautiful weather for a game. Hope it is a great one!
