My friend and I thought we would try dream dinners.....and I am glad I did ! So is my husband and son.Every night they ask for a dream dinner......sadly for them a few nights a week they still have to be tortured by my cooking. Ha...ha
The cost wasn't bad at all.I recieved twelve dinners , they offer three or six servings each.I only need the three and it was 150.00, plus a hour and half of my time. And since I was with my friend it was fun!
The dinners are simple to cook, they are to last for a month.Which also works out great.I am not spending any more then I would at the grocery store.Plus it is cheaper then curb side. And by the time I would drive to get the curb side food, I could have dinner ready...
Has anyone else tried this servce or something like it?

Yes, I have tried it and
Yes, I have tried it and love it as well. I like that they let you split an entree into 2 containers to get more for the buck. The one I use to go to had to close. I am disappointed, but I didn't go enough even though I meant to.
I agree with being able to get a meal on the table without using curb side. I also like the fact you get to put them together yourself so if there is an ingrediant that someone in your family does not like, you just leave it out.
I did find that I needed to cook them longer than the directions stated. Could have been my oven though.
I need to get back to one - thanks for the reminder.

Yes, I also liked that I could put it together myself, son doesn't like mushrooms.....no mushrooms.
After a while of scratching my head of what to make...this will be a nice treat for a bit.....
My friend is in love with it too.....and a few other friends who have done this before.I would say give it a chance at least once...and then again....and again...he..he
I haven't tried one yet, but
I haven't tried one yet, but I have several friends that rave about these places! I have a very picky eater for a DH, so I have been hesitant to try it, but I've heard they have something for everyone. I'll check into it again!

I did Entrees made Easy
I did Entrees made Easy during my sick pregnant months and it was great. Otherwise, I feel like I spend a little too much since I'm pretty dedicated to eating at home instead of out. But, if you are going out all the time, it would FOR SURE be economical.
The other thing I wasn't a huge fan of were the side dishes. I'd rather do fresh stuff. But, I wasn't picky when I was so sick.

I have used these prepared
I have used these prepared meals that one prepares ahead of time. They are wonderful! My family enjoys them too - yes they are priced great as well.

I have tried several
I have tried several different stores like this and I love them. They are frozen dinners that taste homemade and fresh.
My only problem is to remember to take them out of the freezer. You need a day for them to de-thaw. Also, some take longer to make. A few of my last meals took an hour to bake or four to six hours in the crock pot. That's no big deal -unless you're not prepared and need something fast.
I also would suggest making them yourself. I've done it both ways. The time they made my entrees I ended up with things (onions) in my meals I would rather avoid!
On Arizona Midday, we've had some great deals with these. You pay 25 dollars and you get a 50 dollar gift certificate. Most are sold out, but I think Cena Gourmet to Go in Cave Creek still has some on our website. Just go to www.arizonamidday.azcentral.com if you're interested.
Underneath the Arizona Midday photo, it talks about discount deals. Click the "click here" button and it will take you to the Discount Deals page. There's also a Half Off deal to Speed Street ( if your husband like go carts ). I had to buy two for my husband.
I'll try to remember to post the deals when they come up. They go pretty quick. Today, we have half off to Dolce Salon and Spa. If you're interested, they go on sale at 1pm.
Good Luck.

I am also officially a Dream
I am also officially a Dream Dinners addict! I love that it is quick and so much more healthy than eating out. I believe that it is economical because you are only paying for what you need. For example, you don't have to buy an entire container of a particular seasoning that you will not use in very many other recipes. You do not have the option to buy just one clove of garlic at the grocery store, so the rest may go to waste. I have also learned new ways to prepare certain foods since I began going there. For example, I love salmon, but never really knew how to season it, but have gotten great ideas at Dream Dinners. I know the owners of 2 Dream Dinners stores - the 7th street and Union Hills location and the Ahwatukee location. Those stores are owned by Patti and her 2 daughters, Sarah and Laura. They are a really nice family. Try it for yourself!
I went to the 7th street and
I went to the 7th street and Union hills store ( lovemy4 that is the closest one to us, if you are interested I would love to go with you, if you still have the directory my number should be in there)
I have been impressed with the sauces....that is the tricky part of cooking when you don't have alot of time.
We usually only eat out on friday night. So this service is wonderful for those who don't like to eat out so much, but want a good hearty meal.
And yes, the famliy was super sweet and very helpful. This might not be for everyone...however I say try it once!
I haven't been to this
I haven't been to this store, but have gone to a couple others. We usually get a group to go. It is so easy and fun.

I have enjoyed the variety
I have enjoyed the variety of meals from these assembly places not to mention the lack of clean up. However, I found I was still spending more time than I would have liked in my kitchen cooking the side dishes and main course. Then it didn't feel like much of a "night off". After three trips to the dinner assembly stores, I'm not sure if I would go back.
