Any one prefer one over the other? One of my friends had her two girls use braces and then son did Invisalign. She said her son loved it. He had just a minor adjustment on his bottom teeth like my daughter will need. I do know they suggest a minimum age 14 for the Invisalign. I wish I had a choice when I was young.

I've never had or known anyone that used invisalign, however I had braces myself for 1 year as an adult. Honestly, it was not that bad at all - the time went by so fast and they really didnt bother me much. I think consulting with the orthodontist it your best bet. She/he would know what is medically best for your child. I know its a big investment - I wish you the best!

My husband and I both used Invisalign, and loved it. However, my 33 year old husband lost 3 trays and I can't imagine what a 14 year old would loose.
