My 5 yr old just stated taking Depakote for seizures. We're stepping up to the full dose slowly. But two weeks into this, I'm afraid to give him the third pill! The side effects are DIFFICULT to manage. I have a call in to the doctor, but I'm hoping to hear from other moms, whose kids are taking Depakote. Will the side effects REALLY subside after a few weeks? What side effect did you see? Thx!
