I read an article in the paper yesterday about two moms who have started a non-profit called Singleton Moms (after their friend Michelle Singleton who died of breast cancer) and their goal is to help single moms who have cancer. I think these women are amazing and I haven't been able to stop thinking about their story since I read the article. Isn't that a great idea?! They have found a terrific way of helping others and honoring their friend at the same time. Cancer is such a long term illness that it's hard for friends to keep up with helping their friends and maintaing their own families. These ladies are providing such a valuable service.
