revised vaccinations schedule?

divaballerina's picture

Does anyone know of a revised vaccinations schedule for children and babies? I know a lot of people are saying they are doing this (even Trump spoke about it in Dec for his new son Barron) but I can't seem to find one online. They just say that they are spreading them out over a 4 yr period and they are doing one shot at a time. I'm the type of person that needs to "see" it. Anyone have one?

Thanks

When Jenny McCarthy was on

When Jenny McCarthy was on Larry King on April 2 (World Autism Awareness Day) she mentioned 2 websites that offered alternative vaccination schedules. I can't remember the sites but you might find the info if you google her. I have two boys on the spectrum so when I had my third son I spoke to my Dr. about spreading them out over 4 years. She has been very helpful and supportive. Good Luck!

Does Larry King have a web

Does Larry King have a web site? I bet you they would have a link to it.
Just a thought.

Sorry I didn't see your other post. It was www.generationrescue.org that she mentioned on the show. I did watch the show and I too found her to be a bit shall we say excited. Still she did make some good points and she knows how devastating an autism dx can be.

Funny you post this now...we

Funny you post this now...we have just decided to use an alternative vaccine schedule for DD3. There are several books on this subject. Dr. Sears Vaccine Book and the book by Steven Cave (sorry, don't remember the name) were recommended to me when I was researching this.

Dr. Cave's schedule is on www.avontherapeuticcenter.com. I think you have to purchase Dr. Sears' book to get his schedule.

Most alt schedules I've seen have MMR broken into it's individual components so it can be spaced out. A lot of doctors won't order the individual shots because they come in lots of 10. My own ped won't. When I was calling dr's about this many of the offices said they get calls all the time but they don't carry it...I'm personally leaving my pediatrician after 9 years to go to an office that does order this and that will (hopefully) support my wishes. fyi: Paradise Pediactrics on Shae & Tatum have M, M, R available separately.

Good luck on your research.

I said this on another post.

I said this on another post. I really don't see how the MMR series -- which I got over 40 years ago -- could cause autism. If it did, there would be as many 45 year-old people with autism as there are 4 year-old kids with autism.

Most of you haven't had to deal with a case of mumps, measles, or rubella. Not only is each one incredibly painful to the child who is infected, your household can be put in quarantine (no going to work or the market). A young pregnant woman who gets rubella (red measles) is practically guaranteed that her child will not develop normally.

I spaced my now 5 year old

I spaced my now 5 year old daughters out and had them all done separately. I never allowed more than one at a time and her doctor was fine with that. My doctor would not administer the MMR separately because of having to order the vile's separately and in a certain number of them. However, I did wait until she was almost 3 years old to have her have the MMR shot. One other thing is that a lot of concern with vaccinations causing autism are those that contain themerasol. I've always made sure any of the vaccinations my daughter has are themerasol free.
