I am in need of audio tapes that have some sort of positive imagery or inspirational themes. A friend has found out her cancer has matastisized to her bones and liver and wants nothing but positive thoughts to surround her. I thought maybe audio tapes would help.
Also, does anyone know of cancer groups with this sort of program or help? Do you know of anyone who has survived this sort of cancer that can help or tell me their story. My friend needs all the help she can get right now.

I am sorry for your friend, sounds like she has a fight on her hands. My heart goes out to you too, it's hard to know what to do. I don't know of any inspirational Tapes, although I think the new Melissa Ethridge tape deals with her cancer stuggle, in some of the songs, but I haven't heard it. I am a big believer in prayer too, if you attend somewhere, ask her name be added to the prayer chain, so the whole congregation can be sending her healing thoughts. I've even recieved e-mails for prayers for people I don't even know that others have passed on, and on. You can even call churches you don't know and ask she be added.?!?! Good luck!

I noticed on the message board at this website I go to :www.mysweetconnection.com, there is a thread by a poster named keri_az about her struggle with cancer.......it is on the Emotional Support board, and it is called "living with or survived cancer"....I think she is currently undergoing treatment.
