I stopped nursing about 10 months ago, but lately (this past month) I have had the sensation of "let down" quite a few times. Just that tingly, swelling feeling. Has anyone else had phantom let down after stopping nursing? Of course it doesn't hurt, but it as odd times when I am walking through the house and the babies are napping. Just wondering.

I've wondered if this is just me...are my "girls" overachievers, or has anyone else experienced this? He was a preemie and I pumped for a year, so maybe that had something to do with it?

P.S. I do think your "girls" are overachievers. I don't think I could come up with any milk at this point. Isn't the human body amazing!?!?

Every once in a while it happens to me too. I guess I just have a random thought here and there that reminds me of nursing, and I will still get that tingly feeling. Gosh I miss those days!

Happened to me for a few months after I quit nursing my second son (not my first though) and I just attributed it to left over hormones.
I DON'T miss those days.
