I rented a hospital grade pump when I returned to work and pumped successfully for approx. 1.5 years.

Was that expensive? And good for you! I nursed for about 4-5 months after getting back to work with a Medela. Making time to pump was the hard part...probably the biggest reason I stopped.
I kept breast pads in my drawers for those times I couldn't. It wasn't pleasant. How did you do it for so long?
