I feel like I do a better job than any service and I'm more careful around my furniture. I bought a Hoover steamcleaner and it paid for itself in two cleanings. It's not super hard to run the machine since it's like an upright vacuum. Just don't put too much soap or super soak your carpet. I just run it when the kids are in school so the carpet can dry. Just a suggestion.

I would suggest that you make sure you know what it is that you are paying for before they come to your home, and make sure it is all clear. Often they have misleading advertising. You can also check with the better business bureau.
