My hubby has never been one to watch sports on t.v. (i.e. Monday night football - he's not so into that - thank goodness!) Don't get me wrong - he enjoys going to a live game of any of these types of sports (Suns, Coyotes, Cardinals, etc.) Overall he's never been a t.v. watching person. However, when it comes to March Madness (college basketball tournament) he is glued to the t.v. He follows his alma mater (Stanford) every step of the way. Today he told me he was going to TiVo the game as to not miss any of it for when he gets home from work. I find that during March Madness we have the games on all the time. I adore my hubby - this is his only favorite sports 'programming' he watches diligently so I enjoy seeing him watching the games. However, just wondering if anyone else finds the basketball tournament on, at home all the time, during this time of year? It is truly March Madness!

It is absolutely on TV here
It is absolutely on TV here all the time. However, I'm more into it than my husband! I love the college level, where they're not making millions of dollars (yet), and I love that occasionally the underdogs can pull an upset (go Davidson!)

Yes, isn't Davidson
Yes, isn't Davidson awesome?? My cousin went there and I thought it was so cool to see them on the cover of the New York Times sports section today (Sunday).

Yes, and I love it! I fill out a bracket every year and my husband and I put something on the line...I'm winning right now!

Ick! I used to love sports, but my husband is such a junkie I can't stand the sound of it anymore. Thank goodness he doesn't watch basketball, but golf is still on:(
I agree with you. I use to
I agree with you. I use to love sports too but my hubby is so bad he watches fishing...the last 3 days I've come home late (parent teacher conferences, working later than him) and it's on. This morning he actually got mad when I said, "no we are watching the news." Now he's playing Tiger Woods and I'm on my computer ignoring him lol...(not in a bad way, just sick of the sports ;))

The unpredictability of the tournament is what makes it so wonderful and fun to watch. Such heart displayed by these kids - every year!
Anyone can put up a bracket that does as well as the bracket filled out by a sports nut.
I'm currently in a pool for charity. We each put in $50 to support 3 organizations that were close to the heart of a college classmate of mine. He died in Tower One leaving a widow and a 22 mo. old daughter. Besides the "feel good" donation; it's a wonderful time to re-connect with old college classmates (about 100 of us!) who I haven't seen in almost 20 years!
