Ordering diapers online

Does anyone have a recommendation for online diaper delivery companies? I've not had much luck locating one with competitive prices. Should I even try to order my baby's diapers online or just buy when they are on sale at local stores?

Funny you should post this -

Funny you should post this - I was really irritated to find out that Target just raised the price of the big box of Pampers (96 ct) to $21.99. It was $19.99 and would occasionally go on sale for $18.

I'm a coupon maniac, so I will usually clip coupons for Pampers/Huggies and buy them at Target or Wal-Mart. Also, people on Craig's List will occasionally give out free coupons for diapers. You also might want to check CVS flyers - the Playskool diapers are decent and if they're on sale they're pretty inexpensive.

I've never ordered diapers online, but I've looked at diapers.com before. It seems to be reasonable if you get the free shipping.

Try Amazon.com in the past

Try Amazon.com in the past when my daughter was in diapers (thank the Lord that expense is gone .. hehe :-) I remember ordering on their site a few times when they were offering some good deals. Also, as strange as it may seem check out eBay .. a lot of people have auctions for them and you can get them at a reasonable price and a considerable savings. Hope maybe one of those ideas will help you out; I know how expensive they can get!!

Would you ware plastic? Why

Would you ware plastic? Why should your baby?

Disposible diapers end up in our landfills and never bio-degrade. Do you take the inner out of the diaper and put it into a recycling bin and put the plastic part into a recycling bin for plastics like your suppost to? Ooooh gross right, well try using good old fashion cloth diapers and get rid of the disposible diapers that have chemicals in them that cause diaper rash.

Here is a great website that has re-designed cloth diapers, and one that has 100% non-toxic organic products for you, your kids, and your home:

I have never had much luck

I have never had much luck with the online purchase of diapers. However, I do find that buying them by the case at the warehouse clubs like Sam's or Costco saves me quite a bit. I have some friends that really like the store brand diapers at Walmart, but with my daughter she tended to leak through them, so we had to go back to the name brand diapers. Good luck in your search. Thankfully we all escape this phase at one point or another!

P.S. While I generally find that the posts on this website are very helpful. I also think that a post that tries to make you feel guilty or like you aren't doing the best for your children is not helpful and should be disregarded. To each thier own opinion and let's try not to persecute each other for personal choices!

I'm very sorry if I made you

I'm very sorry if I made you feel that way, it wasn't my intention at all. I too, used disposible diapers when my baby was little and I wish now that I didn't. I was just excited about an artical in my local paper about a lady who was trying to do something good for her kids and the environment at the same time and was noticed by the newspaper. Sorry again for making you feel that way, I never meant to make it sound like you didn't have your childs best interest at heart, I was just passing along a website that maybe some might find interesting that's all.

I've ordered from

I've ordered from diapers.com. They worked really well for us, esp when our son was small and running errands was a pain in the butt.

Just make sure you order enough to get the free shipping, or it's not much cheaper. It is a lot more convenient.
