Strollers....

katfish55's picture

I'm back and forth between the Bugaboo Frog Stroller and the BOB Revolution Stroller.

Thoughts? I like them both, and was SOLD on the Bugaboo, but stumbled onto the BOB....now I just can't decide. My hubbie is pretty much sold on the Bugaboo....

I'm having my baby girl on May 15th...and I would need to order either one, so I want to make a decision.

Congrats that you can afford

Congrats that you can afford either one! I'm pretty sure i was only choosing between options carried at Target. I'm sure you'll be happy with either choice.

Thanks, does anyone actually

Thanks, does anyone actually have either that could discuss the benefits?

I had an "affordable" Graco with my son 7 years ago. It was the worst thing I've ever had to deal with. Huge, heavy, hard to fold down, hard to turn, major inconvenience....SO, I would rather pay more for quality and convenience this time around.

I don't know anything about

I don't know anything about the Bugaboo stroller, but I do have the BOB Revolution and love it. It is not my everyday stroller, but I wish it was. It is so easy to manuever (pushing one handed) and it's such a smooth ride for baby, with great shocks. You will need to buy the infant adapter to be able to use right away with your baby (in infant carrier). We have had some issues with our tires, but REI (where we bought it) has been great about fixing them. It's a large stroller, when folded up still takes up quite a bit of space (this is why it's not my everyday stroller). I drive a Tahoe and still find it's an awkward fit. I would highly recommend the Revolution...also nice that you can walk with it, or lock the front tire and it will be a jogging stroller. Worth every penny...

I've never had either (my

I've never had either (my husband thought we were seriously stretching the budget--and insane, as well, getting a Peg Perego stroller), and I don't know anyone who's had the BOB. I have a few friends who've had various models of Bugaboo, though, and they have really liked them.

See, this is one reason I

See, this is one reason I would love the bugaboo as it comes with a bassinet. I personally hate infant carrier seats and would like to leave the darn thing in the truck as much as possible..... Oh well, i have a graco car seat, they have adaptors for the BOB?

Hmmm. I find it crazy that it is awkward in a Tahoe. This will be my everyday stroller - i hate those little umbrella strollers more than anything.

I haven't seen a BOB anywhere in person, I would really like to before I order it.

Thank you though, this was really helpful!

I've been stroller shopping

I've been stroller shopping too. I was thinking of buying the Bee, but that's because I have noodle arms and a smaller car so the Frog would be impractical for me, but I have taken them for test rides anyhow in case I change my mind. I loved the Frog, but I also found another one that was similar and I liked it even a bit better, it's called the UPPAbaby Vista Stroller. If you live in the N Scottsdale area they have one at the Jacadi store at Kierland Commons. I thought it was easier to adjust than the Frog. I haven't seen the BOB so can't give an opinion on that one.

I've decided on the BOB. You

I've decided on the BOB. You can put it up and down with one hand, which is AWESOME! I just love it and will be picking it up from REI this week!
