What a wonderful story - to be recovering from Cerebal Palsy. Wow.
That is exactly why we banked the cord blood of both of our kids with that same company, Cord Blood Registry. Yes, it was expensive (though a bit cheaper 4 and 6 years ago)...but they have payment plans so it really isn't that bad to pay for.

We couldn't imagine not doing it.

We viewed it as an insurance policy.

The only company that has an FDA approved collection bag. Was the first company to have an FDA approved processing system. There processing system has the most experience processing over 200,000 samples and releasing over 200 for transplant. The only company that does research on cord blood stem cells. Every dollar invested in the company goes back into research and development to make your babies (or grand babies) stem cells more valuable. And most importantly never had there processing system recalled by the FDA (Check the article above)! Hope that helps.
