Try not to stress about

Try not to stress about weight gain. There's so much more important (and way more fun!) stuff to focus on now as you prepare for your new little one.

I gained 55 lbs with my twins (first pregnancy), 65 with my next pregnancy and 75 with my last. And all of it came off with no problem, just by exercising regularly and eating healthy. Just be patient with yourself and instead of focusing on the extra pounds, focus on what a miracle every single cell of your body is to be able to create life.

Please don't worry about the weight gain. You are young and will probably lose the weight without trying very hard. Just try to focus on yours and your baby's health and just wait--once that little one starts crawling around, you're going to be burning major calories just chasing him/her around! Be healthy and enjoy "eating for two" right now (just try to stay not to indulge too much in the empty calories, if you can).

Yes, losing control over

Yes, losing control over your body can be really tough--please try to keep a sense of humor about it (is that possible?!) and just enjoy your pregnancy. I remember thinking of my body as kind of a weird science project--pockets of fat popping up everywhere, cellulite on my arms and knees, and general puffiness. But, it did pass--and just wait til you meet your new baby! Good luck--

Join an exercise class for

Join an exercise class for pregnant moms. Eat healthy foods.
I ate everything I wanted or craved and said I'll deal with the weight after delivery. I'm still carrying some extra pounds from my pregnancy, but you know what? My healthy 17 month old is well worth every pain gained.
You'll be fine. It does bother us to gain weight at first because its your first baby and it hurts our ego to see us get so big, but after that baby arrives, you'll think nothing about your weight. After healing, get out and run, or walk with the baby. The weight will come off in time. Worry about the health of your baby. What if your baby was not healthy? You would have more to worry about then your weight. Try to think about the important things. The weight gain should be your least worry, because you know it will be fixed, but an unhealthy baby may not. Quit worrying and enjoy your pregnancy. If I could do it over again, and knew the results of my beautiful baby, I would been less worried about my weight gain.

Between lack of sleep and

Between lack of sleep and breast feeding, for me, it wasn't an issue after having the baby to lose the weight. I didn't diet at all in any special way and it seemed to come all off the first 3-6 months.

But now the problem is that I haven't been able to get back to a 'normal' lifestyle and never really started working out again so I've gained an extra 15 lbs and am out of shape, not necessarily overweight number wise, just not in shape the way I used to be.

It's been hard to find a routine that works for me, my daughter doesn't really like the gym kids center yet so I feel guilty leaving her there, haven't really found a good walking route or time to walk, still am feeling a bit overworked between the baby, daddy, and work :-)

If I were to do it again(!) I'd take a yoga mommy & me class if possible and would start walking with the baby soon after I was cleared for exercise. We never got into a routine and I think it would be easier to start early and get into a routine. The socialization of a class might have made the first few months less stressful as well.

Mostly it's about changing your lifestyle to include the baby and to find a way to continue exercising too! Definitely enjoy your pregnancy and have no worries about your weight! The pregnancy weight will come off, just focus on taking care of yourself now and after you have your baby.

Thanks for the tips!!! I got

Thanks for the tips!!! I got my personal training certification while I have been pregnant for fun so that should help since now i know what I am doing lol, I also purchased a jogging stroller and a bike trailer for the baby so hopefully I will be able to do alot of jogging and biking when he is born, it also will help that I will be staying at home for at least the first year and I have family close by who can help watch the baby if I want to go to the gym, I cant imagine having to work and have a new born you are tough!
