Our second daughter (child)
Our second daughter (child) was planned and it took a little longer than the unexpected one (the first surprise child). Took about 6 months after I got off the Pill and got pregnant. I was 37 at that time....Relax, have faith, and let nature take its course.
If it was more than a year with no success, then I would worry about it and consult with your doctor.
Good Luck.

Our first took 8 months to
Our first took 8 months to conceive, but the second came before we were ready. I read an article in Newsweek about conceiving and how what you eat really makes a difference. You should see if they still have it online. I've also heard that you should have sex every other day to better your chances!

Took me about 1 year to get
Took me about 1 year to get pregnant with my second child. I think I put so much pressure on myself and fooled myself into believing that "this month" I was pregnant. I'd buy a pregnancy kit then end up sobbing in the bathroom when the results were negative. Once I stopped focusing on it so much - I guess just relaxed - that is when I got pregnant. Take care, relax, and good luck!

Relax, and enjoy your
Relax, and enjoy your intimate time with your hubbie; try not to think of it as "trying to get pregnant". Sooner, rather than later, you'll be wondering how to get a moment of privacy with one another.
I've always heard to quit
I've always heard to quit thinking about it so hard and just stay busy doing your regular daily activities. Don't be stressed out trying to become pregnant, because it may be a factor in getting pregnant or not. Plus, isn't it true during certain days after your period that women are more fertile, so keep track. These are the main two things that I did when I was trying at age 35. It took about 6 months. When we first started trying, I would continue to wait and see if I was pregnant each month that went by, then I was almost beginning to believe that maybe it wasn't going to happen, and then I just quit thinking about it and BOOM!

Acupuncture!!!!
Our 2nd we went to see a fertility DR because I am totally impatient. I think they say try for a yr and then go see one but I didn't want to wait. We ended up doing ivf and it was unexplained why I could not get pregnant again on my own. After my 2nd was born I got pregnant on my own FAST with mt 3rd, right after my 2nd was born.. So I think my body was just out of whack... I did acupuncture along with the ivf and I think that is what did it.. It got my Chi (I think that's what they call it) back to normal. I could have saved a ton if I would have just tried that first.. Find a good Acupuncturist that works on fertility issues. You will be pregnant before you know it!!!
I had my share of challenges
I had my share of challenges conceiving with both children. While trying to conceive child number two I found out about an infertility group. It's called RESOLVE - I met with the support group in my area and it was the best thing ever! Many of the women have gone through much what you may have and they have a wealth of information. From RE's (Reproductive Endocrinologist) in the area, to procedures, etc. It is not a medical group by any means but more a sharing of information that can possibly help you find what the next step for you may be. Here is the website, look up the local chapter in your area it is soo worth it! www.resolve.org

Your daily routine really
Your daily routine really affects your chances. If your a caffine drinker, limit your daily consumption to one caffine drink per day. I've also heard that getting the right amount of folic acid in your diet is good too. Be patient, and that day will come! I alslo have a child (6yrs.), I would love to have another one. I am kind of in your boat too though. I have been off of the depo shot for almost 2 yrs. now, and still no baby.

I used fish oil and Vitex
I used fish oil and Vitex herb. Couldn't conceive for 8 months, started on the fish oil and Vitex, and was pregnant within 6 weeks. The Omega 3 fatty acids are REALLY good for you (and the baby once you're prego), and the Vitex can help with hormonal imbalances. Also, lots of fruit and veggies, stay away from fast food, lower your caffeine, no diet soda's or anything with Splenda or Nutrasweet, take a good vitamin with folic acid, get lots of sleep and try to have good fun sex with hubby. Good luck and best wishes!
2 of our 3 pregnancies
2 of our 3 pregnancies happened on vacation. Goin' anywhere this summer?
