Did you know that when a pregnant woman is constantly stressed, recent studies show that she passes fewer nutrients to her unborn baby, possibly leading to a low birth weight? Reduce stress levels with prenatal yoga, meditation, regular exercise (nothing too strenuous), healthy food and just talking it out with other moms.

wow......I must be the exception to the rule.........my pregnancy with my son was a total stress fest.........buying our first home, in-laws that couldn't stand me at the time,my mother was in a psych facility for a few months and I was on an emotional rollercoaster with her outbursts, my husband and I were not on the best of terms.........and I worked full time right up until the week before I delivered my son. I worried that all that turmoil was going to affect him, but he was a robust and healthy 9 pounds and 6 ounces....I did eat healthy and take my prenatals every day.

Yeah, first "they" said that a moms stress level doens't affect the baby and now that it does. I have always beleived that it does, since a moms stress level affects baby even out of the womb I'm sure it does so much more inside. It might not reflect directly on the babies weight but in other more subtle ways I think it does.
