Mediation for divorced parents?

I have used the state appointed mediation services in the past and felt it was successful and helpful. A friend of mine used them as well and felt it was succesful and helpful as well. They really are not biased and are able to listen to both parents and give an honest opinion on what they feel is in the best interest of the child. They also help come to compromises when both parents think there is not a way to compromise.

My husband and his ex used a state appointed mediator too. Kept them out of court over a child support issue.
