Mini Van Mamma

I did it. I bought a Minivan. This was a tough decision for me. I felt like it was moving me from mom to soccer mom. I had a little sporty sedan. It was not right for two kids. I denied it for awhile. Then, I just got more annoyed. My car was too small. One diaper bag made me feel cramped. My back hurt from putting both in the car that low to the ground. I did not have a DVD player.
So, we rented a Minivan to test it out. I really did love it. It was hard giving my car up, but I've learned to love my mom car!
The best part is the automatic doors.
I love opening them up and having my toddler crawl in. He gets in his own car seat fast! The car seat carrier and carseat are the perfect height too. My back feels great! I also upgraded to navigation. I'll never get lost again. The DVD player with the wireless earphones are too cool. Road trips are going to be peaceful. My kids are also spaced apart too. No touching... Yeah!!
I also love the safety options with the van and the satellite radio. The dual air is a must! There's also plenty of room for strollers, bags.....
It also drives great. I never realized how smooth they are. My husband has a big SUV and I hate driving it. I feel too big! This drives like a car.
I swear I'm not just talking myself into it, I like it.
Sure, I miss my car sometimes. But, that passes.
Plus, I made my husband promise me that I could get any car I want when I'm done with this!!
Happy Driving!

I was wondering what kind of minivan you purchased? We are going to buy one and yours sounds wonderful. We were trying to stick with a Honda, but it does not have to be that particular kind of minivan. Anyway, if you can, please let me know. Thank you!

I LOVE my minivan too. It's the best decision we have made regarding cars. I never thought i'd be a "minivan mom" but now I would never be anything else. We bought a town and country with the stow and go seats, and I love it! I agree automatic doors are so worth the extra expense.

I bought a Honda Odyssey.
Love it! It's very roomy and the seats are super comfy.
It seems to hold it's value too.
Good luck.

I love my minivan too! The one that had a hard time with it at first was my husband. He just couldn't imagine driving that thing around (so uncool). But boy, does it make those long car rides with three kids bearable! We've had it for four years now & I don't know how we got along without it.
