Today, many more parents will learn about this fabulous Web site because of a new initiative to put some of our mom's content into print.
Every Wednesday, when you pick up your community section, you'll see three fun family activities, excerpts of a hot conversation and pictures of kid friendly activities around the Valley. Four moms/discussion leaders are helping me put these sections together. They are Kristin Park, Patricia Rodriguez, Kate Taylor and Elizabeth Thames.
We also have a few more discussion leaders on the site to help me flag inappropriate content and keep conversations going.
I'm very excited about these community "moms" sections because more parents will discover the interesting conversations we have here and the great activities for kids that we list.
We have a lot of great moms and a few dads on the site every day. Sometimes they agree about tackling a parenting topic (and other issues, too) and sometimes they don't. But in the end, you get some frank conversations meant to help us all be the best moms and dads we can be.
Welcome and enjoy!

I saw the section this morning and showed it to our son. I guess it made an impression on him because he told his teacher and classmates that his mom was in the newspaper. His teacher found it and put it up on the bulletin board. I'm glad to see he got such a kick out of it!
