Does anyone one know of any inexpensive apartments?

JnKs_Mommy's picture

Does anyone happen to know of any inexpensive apartments on the west side of the valley? My fiance just lost his job and our lease is up at the end of December. I found alot in Maryvale but that is not somewhere I want the kids at. If it was just me and him that would be fine but we have the kids. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

What's your price range

What's your price range you're looking for and how many bedrooms do you need? I know that there's a complex on Bell Road and approx. 63rd Avenue (just below 67th avenue) called Eagle Crest that my Uncle lives at and they're pretty reasonable. He has a 2 bedroom unit and I think pays about $600-$700 a month, some where around there.

Wer're trying to keep it

Wer're trying to keep it around 650. I only bring home 1200 a month after insurance and taxes. We're looking for a teo bedroom but my credit's pretty bad so we're having a hard time finding one that will take us.

Eagle Crest is $695 for a 2 bedroom/1 bath according to their website ... and requires a $150 dpst. I'm not sure of the credit thing. Check out their website

Hi there - i agree - check around Thunderbird to Bell Rd from I-17 west. The area is fairly nice (definitely not maryvale!) and you can find inexpensive apartments along there (there are tons) - especially around ASU West campus, which is around 43rd ave and t-bird. Hope this helps - good luck!

Also, check in the newspaper

Also, check in the newspaper - I've found that there are tons of privately owned apartments/condos that go for dirt cheap in good areas. Most will work with you on your credit issues too. Been there :)
