I have been a stay at home mom for almost 2 straight years, save when I returned to work for about 4 months last year & I am not cut out for this. I am so bored that it is driving me up a wall. I am working on a MBA with a concentration in labor relations. Prior to becoming a mother, I worked in the airline industry for 10 years. I am aware of US Airways being headquartered in Tempe, AZ but I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket--so to speak.
My son is due in April and I will begin job hunting in July. I am relocating back to AZ but I don't know how to search for jobs that are not airline related. I have tried monsterjobs.com, career builder.com, and all seem to provide staffing services. I want to contact companies directly. I know that it is early but I have to set a plan in motion so that I will be ready to relocate by my set date. Does anyone have suggestions on how to begin this process?
I tip my hat to women who devote their lives to being a full-time stay-at-home mom as it is not easy. But I have learned this is not the lifestyle for me. Besides, my husband and I are divorcing so I must return to work to provide for my children. Thank you in advance for providing positive feedback to my request.

I hear ya! I am going to
I hear ya! I am going to have to go back to work May/June since my p/t gig is moving! LOL! Have you tried Craigs List? Thats what I have been doing, because I no longer want to be a caregiver-which I had been doing since before my son was born! I was a sahm for 18mths and then finally found a p/t job--but like I said they are moving!
I have only tried monster and jobing--oh and you can try the newspaper online! In the classifieds section! Hope this helps!

Dear Michell, I'm sorry to
Dear Michell,
I'm sorry to hear that the job you like is moving is in May/June is moving. That must be hard. The reason I am responding to your post is that you said that you must start looking for another job and that you don't want it to be in the caregiving industry.
Well, I just started working for this company and they are wonderful. I myself am a sahm, and I go to school online. Since I started working with this company, it has allowed me to keep my already busy schedule without having to worry about hiring a baby-sitter for my two kids. And working with this company, is just like one big happy family. Everyone helps everyone out. You don't get left behind.
If you want any information, please let me know and I'll inform you with the proper information. So just let me know. Have a good day.

Dear Decthmpsn, First off,
Dear Decthmpsn,
First off, congratulations on your son being born. I know how to feels to be a sahm. Because I am one of them. Not only am I a sahm but I also work from home and attend classes online.
The reason I am responding to your post is because you've said that you have tried every avenue to find work. I have tried all the avenues you have tried to find work and nothing. It just goes to show how hard times are. But now, I work from home.
I just got introduced to this company and it is wonderful. It is allowing me to continue to be a sahm while I'm with my kids and going to school. That's why I'm so happy about it. If you want any information on the company I work with, just let me know and I'll be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
Again, congratulations on your son being born!! Have a good day!!
