So now that we are definitely going to try and have another baby I started looking around and things that I'll need over the course of being pregnant and after having a baby and one thing that's totally thrown me for a loop is maternity clothes. HAVE PEOPLE LOST THEIR MIND??? I have a hard time spending $25 and up on one piece of clothing that I can wear now, let alone on one piece of clothing that I'm only going to be wearing for like a total of 6 months - 9 months (the last time I was pregnant, I wore maternity clothes from like my 3rd/4th month and left the hospital in my jeans prior to being pregnant). Does anyone have some good suggestions where I can get cute, decent clothing (2nd hand is fine with me) for a little cheaper. My major concern is pants. If I get pregnant in the next few months I'll have a 1/2 fall / 1/2 winter belly and I'm short (5 ft) so I'll need pants.
Since I haven't had a baby in like 7 and 1/2 years I will need to buy all new stuff (crib, clothes, car seats, high chair, swing) and I'd prefer to spend my money on these things rather than maternity clothes (I'm trying to only by about a week and a half worth of clothing).
Thanks!

I bought a lot of my baby
I bought a lot of my baby stuff and maternity clothes ofn www.craigslist.com. There are a ton of nice gently used baby items for sale.
This may not be the best
This may not be the best place for pants, but there are a lot of cute shirts that look maternity-ish at Forever 21. The prices are usually in the teens. For pants, Target has good ones, but still a little pricey. They seem to go on clearance pretty quickly though.

I totally agree about
I totally agree about Forever 21, also Charlotte Russe and all the other stores like them. A lot of the "in" cuts for shirts these days are perfect for pregnant moms. I bought my jeans at Target for $30, but I'm wearing them now even though I really don't quite need them yet so I get some use out of them.
Ebay is good too. A lot of women sell their clothes in "lots" which would give you an insta-wardrobe if you find someone with you size and style.
Baby Bloomers on 7th Street
Baby Bloomers on 7th Street and Maryland. It is a gently used consignment store - the owner only takes quality namebrand merchandise. It's great!

Try the JC Penney Outlet
Try the JC Penney Outlet store at Arizona Mills. They usually have decent maternity clothing at reasonable prices.
My mom shopped at Other
My mom shopped at Other Mothers when she was pregnant with me and it was great back then, but I never made it over there over the course of my pregnancy, but if you're in the neighborhood of one of the locations, it might be worth checking out : http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=other+mothers&near=Pho...
