win $$$ for surveys?

I know what you're talking about, but no I've never heard of anyone actually winning!

I don't 'play' those lottery-style survey games, but I DO go online for the survey if there is a guaranteed pay out. Panda Express, Burger King and Mimi's all have surveys that offer free food as a reward. They really are worth it --- but I guess I'm too cynical to try the 'you MIGHT win' ones!

I've wondered about that myself. I have done the receipt surveys a few times...random places, usually casual dining places, but never won or have known anyone to win.

I've completed the online survey from Target a few times. Who couldn't use a $5000 gift card from target. But nothing......

I always think i don't win because i always uncheck the box that says "Yes, i would like to receive emails with special offers." LOL!

I must confess that yes I have tried these from Wal-mart and Target. I have yet to win. I know a few other people who have tried and have never won!

I do call or go online and fill out the surveys. If nothing else the code for free food lightens my lunch expenses or at least gives me a variety from the brown bag lunch. My husband is very negative, he says no one ever wins. I play anyway and tell him that when I do win I'm not sharing it with him and his negativity.

Never have won...tried just a few times, such as when my nice pharmacist suggests it. I think they have some kind of quota to meet. I'm sure many people enter, though. I haven't heard of winners though...you'd think they'd post somewhere on their web site.

Honestly, now I just don't bother with them - even the ones that give you a coupon. Too often, I just forget about it and then it expires.

Nope I have never won. I have done surveys for food places that give you money off your next visit. I find those somewhat rewarding. I read an article about a guy who said something along the lines of why should I give my opinion for free? It started me thinking about all the times you are asked for your opinion but you get nothing in return. Not really.
