Do you ever find yourself in what i call "baby or kid mode"? Today i did and was laughing at myself when i realized what i was looking at had nothing to do with a baby or a kid.
My daughter and i were headed home after being out this morning. We were at a stop light and i was behind a work truck. On the work truck was a sticker that read "Do you bundle baby?" My first thought was, "thats kind of strange on a work truck." Then i thought, it's kind of hot outside to be bundling up the baby." Then it took me back to when we brought our daughter home and we would swaddle her for bed time or comforting. Then i read the bottom of the sticker and started laughing it was a Cox Communication truck and the sticker was more along the lines of bundling their services. Phone, interent, cable.
Anyone else ever do something silly like this?

I remember one time I was at
I remember one time I was at the grocery store and I was purchasing Nursery water. little did I know then that it was probably as good as any bottled water. The girl bagging my groceries looks at me and asks if the water is for my nursery. It didn't even dawn on me why she was asking.

I have that "Mom Reflex"
I have that "Mom Reflex" often --- when I'm in a store or other public place and I hear a kid call out "Mom!" and I look up even though my kids aren't with me!

Ok, am I way out of the loop or what because I have no idea what Nursery water is!!!
They might not sell it any
They might not sell it any more, but you could buy with the other bottle water. It was suppose to be better than regular water for your baby. I don't remember what they put in it or if it was promoted as more pure. This was at least 10 years ago. My memory escapes me now.

We bought nursery water recently for my boys because the dentist recommended it since it contains flouride.

Baby mode, for sure...I am
Baby mode, for sure...I am nursing our 5 month old so when we are out and about and I hear that distinct infant cry (any infant, not just my own) my milk just floods in and out it comes, ready to feed any and all babies, oh the joy! :)

That's funny, my body never did that when I was nursing (for 1 year). I had always heard about that, but never experienced it...thank goodness for breast pads, huh?
This stuff happens to me all
This stuff happens to me all of the time, but I can remember the first time was when I went to the zoo. I had an infant, and hadn't been to the zoo in years.
Over by the water play area is a place called a changing station. I thought to myself how nice of them to have a separate diaper changing area. Then after I went in there and saw people changing their kids into swimming gear I got the idea.
Ooops.

The biggest problem I seem
The biggest problem I seem to have is transitioning out of referring to my husband as "Dad" and myself as "Mom". When that happens I know I need more adult conversation in my life!

My daughter is 2 now so I dont rock her so much anymore but
I can be in the line at the store, bank or where ever and I often catch myself rocking as though I was holding a small baby.
