Best Spa Pedicure in East Valley

zoelpc's picture

I am in need of the Best Spa Pedicure Ever. I would love a place that gives great foot massages, can really get rid of callouses, and spends a generous amount of time with you. If you know of a great place, please let me know. I live in Gilbert, but will drive a little ways for the Best Spa Pedicure!!

I am currently 5 months pregnant with baby #2 and have a 15-month old so I do not get out that often and would love a little pampering. We Mom's all deserve it, right! :)

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

I do like Nordstroms

I do like Nordstroms pedicures - they are nice. However, if you are 5 months pregnant -hmmm. The reason I say that is because they are not like traditional pedicures where you sit upright. At Nordies they seat you then push the chair back (like way back - like at a dental office visit if not further back) uncertain if that will be uncomfortable on your back being 5 months pregnant. I don't know if this is the best spa in the East Valley, but one I have gone to that I like for 2 reasons. 1. They do massages, pedicures, manicures, etc. 2. They have childcare at a reasonable price. It is the Scottsdale Healthcare - Shea campus. Yes, its a hospital spa but it is really nice & the ladies that do the treatments are specialized to work on pregnant women (as I know there are certain places on your feet that should not be massaged during pregnancy.) The cost of childcare is $5 for 2 hours (I think) while you are getting your services. The childcare facility is literally next door to the spa & children have to be at least 1 year old (which yours is.) The nice thing is the spa is non-profit. All moneys go to the Women's Wellness Program at the hospital and they do not accept tips (at all - as it is non-profit.) I had a pedicure and massage there while pregnant with my second child and just enjoyed it very much! My 2 year old (at the time) had lots of fun at the childcare facility onsite while I was at the spa. So it was a good time by all! Here is their website: http://www.shc.org/content.asp?lnavid=309

azspagirls.com is an amazing resource. Being pregnant affects moms-to-be in such different ways, but feet are often one of the biggest complaints! Try rolling a tennis ball around on the bottom of your feet to relieve tension. Although we don't offer pedicures, we have an amazing foot treatment that combines a eucalyptus-mint foot scrub, reflexology and a hot-stone foot massage!
