Did anyone else go see Hillary Clinton at Cesar Chavez High School last night? I went and thought it was a great experience. I'd never seen a presidential candidate speak in person before, and found it very exciting. I'm still undecided on how I'll vote (I'm a registered independent), but I was far more impressed by her speech than I thought I'd be. She's incredibly inspiring and what she said really made sense. Whether or not she wins the election, I was overwhelmed by the sense of watching history in the making as I listened to her speak and realized how amazing it is to have a woman actually running for president.
I can't help but wonder now why our governor chose to back Obama instead.... Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Napolitano is pretty savy,
Napolitano is pretty savy, she must think Obama can do it. Maybe she sees herself in a high level post if he wins???!?! I think Hillary is the most experienced and most capable of the Dem candidates, and really has a life history of being dedicated to social and political change. Although I too am not sure she's the candidate I would support at this time. I want a Dem candidate who can WIN the office and so many people will be energized to fight against her (ones that might not fight so hard against Obama or Edwards) that I worry. Obama doesn't have that baggage and is certainly smart and dynamic. I like them both(all), I just want someone who can make it to the White House then clean up the messes. (I'm not a registered Democrat, so I don't get to vote in the primary anyway...)
The crowd did seem very excited about her visit, for what that is worth.

I heard that a lot of people
I heard that a lot of people were angry that they did not get in to see her.
I prefer Obama to Hilary, as far as the dems go............I have wondered if one gets the nomination that they will give the nod to the other for their VP candidate.
I am a registered independant, so I don't think I can vote in the primary, either.
I wish I went....I think
I wish I went....I think Hilary is very experienced, but Republicans and some Democrats despise her. So I don't think she can win at this point, either. I'm not sure how I'll vote yet. I'm not impressed by the Republican candidates, though.
