congregation has a non-negotiable commitment to Africa.
No where is AMERICA even mentioned!

church... B-L-A-C-K!!!
Doesn't look like his choice of religion has improved much over his former
Muslim upbringing?

Strip away his nice looks, the big smile and smooth talk and what do you get?

And possibly a covert worshipper of the Muslim faith, even today.

I am really surprised how he has been able to get as far as he has since I
thought it was terrible
when he won the US Senate seat for the state of Illinois.
What is wrong with people who will vote for such a person who will
not even salute the American flag or place his hand over his heart when the

I cannot believe this has not been all over the TV and newspapers.
This is why it is so important to pass this message along to all of our family &

To think that Obama has even the slightest chance in the run for the
presidency, is really scary.

I posted this the same as it came to me on a forward to my e-mail.. I think at snopes, this was how it was listed or someone added a few of their own opinions.. But either way, we as voters should check into all candidates...I did find interesting that my daughter told me that her ASU prof. asked the kids if they had a problem voting in a person (Obama) who took his office and would only sware in on the Koran and not the Bible. but I haven't been able to find and verify if this is true or false.. Now, for me that does play a big part on my voting and with 9/11, I would never vote in a candidate that did that in the past...

I get those stupid emails too. They're all just a bunch of hooey! I'm not planning to vote for Obama and hope he doesn't win the nomination, but those emails are just ridiculous. I also think your daughter's ASU prof. is feeding into the rumors. Why would someone who is "unapologetically Christian" and been a member of the United Church of Christ for 20 years want to swear on the Koran? It is funny. The sad thing today is you can't be proud of your heritage without being a racist in some way. But I do think there would be more outrage if a White candidate belonged to a church promoting "White" pride. I don't know how the man feels inside, but you know someone will always take issue if you wear your pride on your sleeve.

I think "White" Pride in the way it is used today in association with white supremisists believes only white are worthwhile and puts done others who aren't. Black pride takes pride in being Black and doesn't take anything away from anyone else. There is a difference.
If it was a Polish church, it would support Polish values and people would be OK with that. This is just a touchy subject.

Yeah...the one that I read said that his father was a radical Muslim (black) who married a white, radical atheist, and that his father taught him the radical Muslim ways.
What RADICAL Muslim sleeps with an atheist??????????

so who really knows.
I only copied and pasted what was sent to me on an e-mail. But what i believe personally is I am not worldly and open to the things of this world, I stand on my foundation and that is the Bible and Jesus Christ. Nothing added to it and nothing taken from it.. I don't condone the things of the world that are not biblical, and i am not perfect, but I try my best to live my life according to the Word of God.
And as far as what Muslim sleeps with an aithiest.. Ppl will sleep with whoever for a piece of a,or quick please, In fact most that will have no morals as I see it.

So rather than believing that his parents were open minded, loving, ethical peple who feel in love despite their different backgrounds, we should believe his father had no morals, because he sleep with someone from a different religious background?
Maybe people aren't as different as the major religions would have us believe.
Or maybe the lesson to take form this is that calling someone a "radical" doesn't make it so.

We voted Bush in 8 yrs ago and look what it got us. The economy is SHOT. Families has been destroyed, Loved ones have been lost. All in a senseless war. All this money we're spending for this war could be going to pay for millions over here that dont have healthcare. or put back into social security.
Now Bush endorses McCain. That to me is scary in itself. The economy can't suffer another 4 yrs like this!
I think the fact that a black person in this country is even running for president scares alot of people. Only because the fact that he's black and it's soooo easy to find fault, flaws, and problems with that alone. Americans are very touchey when it comes to race issues in this country.
You said we need to wake up but, no.......
