I live in the N.W. Phoenix area (35th / Deer Valley) and am wondering if anyone goes to this church? It's a little bit away from my house but so far it seems to be the only Non-denominational church that offers a lot of what I'm looking for (women ministries, youth ministries, counseling). Without going too much into detail, I'm going throug a rough time in my life and marriage and want to get back into a church life which has been strongly lacking for about 3 years. I also want my kids to grow up knowing and believing in God. Any comments on this church or another one in my area would be great and well appreciated.
Thanks all!

Good for you....I am still
Good for you....I am still looking for a church community, too but I am on the other side of the world(Gilbert).
I guess as long as we are always on time and don't ask anyone to scoot over, we'll be OK? lol
I just wanted to tell you - God is always there for you, even when people fail you, remember that......it has carried me through some rough patches of my own. I hope everything gets better.
lol...that was something
lol...that was something else. For a split second I couldn't believe some of the comments I was reading.
I know that this is a great move in my life and never have I been more ready to face my past demons and let God direct me on the path I need to be. Thank you for the well wishes!
Just an FYI...I lived next to this church for a while but couldn't find the information on it until I went to www.usachurch.com. Maybe you can use it in your own search as well! Good luck to you!

I live in Gilbert too! My
I live in Gilbert too! My brother-in-law is a pastor at Chandler Christian Church (don't be confused there are 2 churches there right next to each other...one is Cornerstone, I think, and the other is Chandler Christian) which is just off of 202 and Alma School Rd. I really enjoy it when we go. They have upbeat praise/worship. The senior pastor delivers his sermons in a very easy to understand manner (not the holier than though type at all). Sometimes my brother-in-law preaches too. And Preston, my 6-year old loves going to his class. Even though it's not in Gilbert, it's not far at all. Just thought I'd throw that out there!

No, I have not been to that
No, I have not been to that church. Please consider a "good" church isn't always right around the corner. Consider doing some research as well. Might find a great church a ways down the road. The church I go to in a ways away but so worth the drive. Good luck!
There is no way to be a perfect mother, but a million ways to be a good one!
I think it's great that
I think it's great that you're taking the time to research the church. I'd go to a service to check it out. And try some others in the area. It took us a few months (and visiting lots of churches) before we found the right one. But it was well worth the time. Good luck!

Go church shopping if you
Go church shopping if you need to and don't feel bad doing it either. You can't just settle for a church if it doesn't offer what you're looking for!! Try the one you're talking about out and if that's not a good fit try some others. Good luck!!
