I have been home with my daughter for awhile now and I believe its time for me to go back to work, times are getting tougher and expenses are getting tight. I tried watching children out my home but I got too stressed and actually felt it was taking time away from my family. I've been looking for a receptionist job but haven't had any luck. It could be my education isn't that great and I don't have a receptionist background. My work history is basically working in a children's store as management, but I don't want to go back into the retail business. I want a normal monday through friday job 9-5. I don't know why I'm have so much trouble finding a good paying job. Does anyone know of anyone that is hiring or what I can do to find the job I am looking for? I need some advice!

If you don't have experience
If you don't have experience in the area then look for any type of office job that will get you 'in the door', for example File Clerk. Once you start working in an office & they see you are very productive then there sometimes is opportunity to try other types of work role (like receptionist.) When going into a field with little to no experience we sometimes have to take a role that just gets us 'seen' and then work our way from there to the role we desire. Look for various 9-5 type jobs on various websites like: moster.com, careerbuilder.com, etc. I know some are tailored to specific jobs - I have not kept up with where the office jobs are advertised moreso - but these sites give you a start. Also, maybe look at temporary agencies, its a thought?

Well said. When I was much
Well said. When I was much younger I worked for temp agencies, and often had steady work and several times was offered full time positions from it.
