How many of you use ebay???? How many of you tell you husbands what you spend???? I use ebay and I don't tell my husband and I spent a lot more than I should... I was just wondering if any of you are as bad as me.. Hopefully to make me feel better...

hey, i say don't feel bad, i don't use e-bay but i do spend more than i should and don't tell my husband either, eventually he does find out when i get the bill, he always tells me that i need to be more careful with my money,

Doesn't he find out eventually? I mean, you don't work.....does he let you handle the bills or something?
I like to spend, too, but it's kind of hard to hide that stuff forever when you share accounts.....I always tell my husband at least I generate a lot of income as well and I'm not just spending all of his money.....he doesn't see that as a justification, but oh well.....
Speaking of Ebay....what do you buy there, if you don't mind my asking? I don't buy stuff there, but I did see a prada wallet I like the last time I checked it out and was thinking of bidding on it.....I hope it isn't a fake.....I wonder if people have a lot of problems with not getting what they pay for or getting ripped of on ebay?

I've completed 86 purchase transactions and 8 selling transactions. I have never been ripped off in any way. You can check the rating on someone's transactions to decide if you want to proceed with them, but unless you have a good reputation there, you don't last long. I have bought MANY items that were sold out everywhere else. ("Wiggles slippers", "Green Goblin" action figure, usually all of my party favors, concert tickets, etc.) It is my main source for obsure things that I need for party themes (authentic Egyptian Papyrus bookmarks, etc.). I even bought myself some sterling silver penguin shaped earings, for my son's Penguin Party! You have to watch the shipping costs, but overall, it's a great deal for me. I love being able to go on an international "scavenger hunt" for unique things, though.

Clothes, shoes, books... I just love it... They do have fakes on ebay. I noticed a ton with LV..I can spot a fake one of those a mile away. I have a couple real ones that have lasted me about 10 yrs. Those are easy to spot. Prada is a little harder to spot the fakes, I would stick to stores for purses...

I like to buy a lot of stuff secondhand...but shoes I'm not so sure about.
I went ahead and bought the wallet....the seller had all positive feedback, I did some research on how to spot fake prada and I think this one looks good, and it was a pretty good deal....it arrived yesterday. I love it!
I would like to buy some Lacoste polos for my son.....I went to Nordstrom a while ago and checked them out but $45 seems like a lot for a kids shirt, when he'll be out of it so soon.....I might see if I can pick some up on ebay...I saw a few out there but they were mostly colors he wouldn't wear.
