Kids Consignment?

LaraPiu's picture

I have some nice kids clothing to consign. I have used a few places but not really found a place I love yet. I need a consignment store in central to Northwest valley that looks at your wares while you wait and also takes nice toys.

Thank you for your suggestions!

Check out http://www.evmaz.com/ - It's a kids consignment sale that I learned about from moms right here! In fact I will be there handing out goodies for arizonamoms. You consign your items, they sell them and you get to keep 70% or 80% if you volunteer some time. It may not be a convenient location, but might be worth the time if you make more money and you have a lot of items. Definitely worth checking out!

Susan is mom to Alexander, Isabel, David and stepmom to Eric. She does community outreach for arizonamoms. Be sure to enter the Back-to-School $1000 Giveaway every day July 4-31!

I've mentioned this place

I've mentioned this place before, but I am a huge fan of Puddleduds at Scottsdale/Shea in Scottsdale (not exactly the NW Valley - but it IS a great place!).

I like this place because they pay BY THE BRAND. Therefore, you get paid more for a Ralph Lauren outfit than for an outfit from Target. Considering it cost you more, it seems quite fair. Many other places will only pay by the type of item (e.g., cardigan sweater - $6). This place will say, "oh, Gap sweater - $9, but for your Jacadi sweater, $12).

By the way - they actually don't even buy "low-end" stuff (e.g., Target, Carters, etc.). But I just take stuff there first, they pick over what they want, then I just go somewhere else to sell the rest.

No appointment ever necessary.

Not consignment - (which I find annoying. True consignment means they take everything and give you no money. You check back and see what was sold and get paid only for what was sold. Then, if you want the unsold stuff back - to sell elsewhere or to donate, you go through another hassle). This places just buys your stuff. You walk out with cash. If they end up not selling it - that is their loss!

Good Luck!
