We are going skiing this weekend and my 7yr olds boots are too small. No suprise really but you know how it goes. I didn't check on his boots until 2 days before we go to the snow.
I've been to Walmart, Shoe Pavilion, Target, and Sport Chalet. I will be trying Sports Authority this afternoon. Kid 2 kid is too hit or miss this late in the game.
Any other suggestions? He may just have to go in sneakers.
Thanks for your inputs.

Payless? You can go on-line
Payless? You can go on-line and maybe could have it shipped to your closest store in time? or even to the house if you get your order in, seems like it sometimes only takes a few days to be delivered... Good luck.

ooh, I just read this again,
ooh, I just read this again, 2 days isn't much time. Sneakers with plastic bags over them might be the best fall back idea...

You might try Big 5. Or

if you mean actual ski boots
if you mean actual ski boots - not just snow boots - you can just rent them at the resort.
for snow boots, try buying a pair when you get closer to the resort at a walmart or something. snow towns will stock them for sure.

We went up to Flagstaff
We went up to Flagstaff about 2 weeks ago and assumed that we could surely get extra dry gloves and even sleds more easily up North! WRONG! Target, Walmart and Big 5 were completely sold out of sleds, gloves, hats and scarves! We assumed that because they deal with snow a lot, they would have the best selection. But, it seems that many people are just like us and don't buy the needed gear until they get there. My experience suggests that would be a mistake! I tried the Once Upon A Child's in Gilbert/Chandler area and they had no boots either. Some woman on Craigslist was renting snow boots, if she had the size you needed. best of luck! Seems like a good business, for someone to cater to families who only need boots 1-2 times per year.
