Steam mop to recommend??

braybee's picture

I keep seeing this infomercial for the h2O steam mop and it looks amazing, however, because it is one of those As Seen On TV things, I question it. I think I'd have more faith in a name brand, i.e. Bissel or Shark. Does anyone have an inexpensive steam mop to recommend?? With laminate/tile and a baby on the move, I'm getting desperate!

I totally hear you they are

I totally hear you they are starting to look really good from my end. I'd be interested if anyone has actually tried that one and the tobi which is a steam wand that can actually dryclean clothing, upolstery, and other stuff as well.

We once bought the $250

We once bought the $250 Bissel from Costco and used it on tile and carpet, and honestly nothing really beats just having a really good professional carpet cleaning. You just can't get the suction with a home machine, and it didn't do much for the tile grout.

I have a Bissell steam

I have a Bissell steam cleaner for floors. I bought it with points from my VISA so I can't tell you how much it was. I love it. We recently put in laminate floor and tile. No streaking and the reusable pads pick up so much dirt. It is very light and easy to manuver. No chemicals for cleaning the floors.
