Ugh.... this is such a difficult process and requires so much work. You sure you're up to building up a photo portfolio of your baby (which isn't cheap, by the way!), and then keeping the photos updated constantly, dragging your baby around to photo shoots, modeling appointments (that also aren't cheap), and all the other mindless things that baby modeling entails?

I've never done this myself (would never push my kids into this realm), but I have a cousin who has and she thought it was the biggest pain and finally gave up. Plus it was incredibly hard to get noticed. (And her two girls are so incredibly beautiful, they take your breath away.)

I agree that before you start down this road, you might want to talk with some moms who have their kids "in the business" to get a read on what it's really like. I'm sure that for all the wondeful perks of being a model, there are drawbacks too.

You might decide that the demands are too much or that it will interfer with your son just being 'a kid.' Or you might think that the pitfalls are things you and your family can avoid. Either way, you should have a good idea of what you're getting into before making the investment of time and money to get started.

Good luck in whatever you do, and I'm sure you're baby is a darling!
