Can anyone reccommend a suncreen for my seven year old and I that is not too greasy? One that can go on the face?

Definitely the aerosol
Definitely the aerosol Bullfrog Brand. This is the only sunscreen I've found that you can apply in the morning and it's still working in the evening even after swimming all day!!
I agree on aerosols. You
I agree on aerosols. You don't end up overloading. I like the Aveeno brand along the with bullfrog.
Clarins products I find are
Clarins products I find are the best, you can purchase them at Clarins counter at Macy's, Dillards or Nordstroms, and they are more natural than others. My kids use them too.

I really like Arbonne's
I really like Arbonne's suncreen. It's called ABC - Arbonne Baby Care sunscreen.

I only use California Baby
I only use California Baby on my 2 year old. It's very low on the toxin scale as opposed to many sunscreens. It's easy to apply and isn't greasy. You can order it online at californiababy.com. They have lots of great products.
When my oldest son was young
When my oldest son was young I used Coppertone "Shade" on him, especially on his face. It was very gentle and the only one that did not cause a reaction to his sensitive skin.

my son's pediatric
my son's pediatric dermotologist recommended Neutrogena Sensitive with UVA/UVB. I guess it was important that it had the UVA/UVB he told us. I typically purchase the 30 spf - its not greasy. The doctor told me to stay away from any sunblock that smells 'nice' as that just has chemicals that are not good for our skin.

We use Neutrogena Ultra
We use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 70 and love it. It is not greasy at all. My 6 year old burns really easily and the neutrogena always protects her.

Wow. That's good advice
Wow. That's good advice about the scent--thanks for sharing. Now-a-days everything comes with a scent, I think I've even seen scented tampons and makeup!
I often wonder if I'm really protecting my family by using sun screen. Have you read the back of those bottles? There's so many chemicals that I can't help but wonder if we're at a greater risk of cancer by slathering in sunscreen chemicals.
As a consumer, I've made the switch over to as many unscented products as are offered. I must not be alone because more and more products are made available this way (liquid detergent/dryer sheets...).
On one hand it's nice to just be able to smell the scent of our perfumes without all the other scented products contributing; on the other hand--it's like your doctor said--less chemicals! A win win.
Why haven't I thought of unscented sunscreen! Thanks.
The best sunscreen on the
The best sunscreen on the market is BLUE LIZARD. It is out of Australia where the skin cancer rate is ridiculous. My dermatologist from NYC will only reccomend it. He has done tests on every sunscreen on the market & found that this one works the best. They make unscented/sensitive & a baby formula as well. It's hard to find out here, I only saw it in Target.

For the face, I like the coppertone for kids in stick form or aveeno. It makes me nervous to spray aerosols on the face.
