i am a new member, i am not a fashionista or a size 2, i am a mom with strech marks and faults so i am not perfect, i am a good listener but bad at taking any kind of critisism (sp) i am a plain person not a perfect mom and i hope to get plenty of wisdom from moms on this site by reading all i can. moved here 7 months ago, grew up in Tucson. have no new friends to shop with. and i shop thrift stores for recreation. have two boys who push me every day. look forward to reading what u have to say here and there.

Hi! I joined a few days ago and can't seem to pull myself away from the site (even though I'm at work). I feel like I know some of these women on here even though we haven't actually talked. I can relate to the 2 boys, mine are 10 and 4. I have no hang out friends either and I love going to Super Walmart on Friday nights when my husband is working late, pretty pathetic.
Try to get them involved in a sport so you can meet people. I'm partial to inline/ice hockey but soccer is great too!

Hello there.......I am a size 2.....but I have a few stretch marks....no one my size who gave birth to a 10 pound baby could escape unscathed......and I have plenty of faults....I am pretty blunt , in turn I try to learn from criticism ....but overall I enjoy the conversation here and it's an outlet for me.

Welcome! I'm not perfect either! But I try my best to do what's right for my kids and family, and that's what counts.
Me - I like to be stylish, but I am not a size 2. Never have been, never will be...but I do remember being 122 the year I got married. (And I thought I was fat then- ha!) I have stretch marks from the 50 pounds I put on for my first pregnancy. I only gained 40 for the second, but that's because I put on a permanent 10....which is now more like 20 since getting married.
