I have never had to deal with red bumps around my bikini area after shaving before until now and I'm at a loss. I tried the special shaving cream for it but it didn't really work. Ahh why now? This hasn't been an issue before. I know some women can't shave that area without getting red bumps so what do you do? I find it unattractive and annoying! So what does every one do for your "special area"?

Buy Bikini Zone you put that on the "area" and you won't get the bumps. You can find it at Target. I think aloe vera gel might work too. It's annoying, isn't it?
Tend Skin is a good product
Tend Skin is a good product too. There's lots of products to apply daily to get rid of the bumps and helps prevent ingrown hairs.

When I got a bikini wax, they sold me this product to prevent ingrown hairs (which is one reason for the red bumps.) I am sure if you call a salon that does waxing, they'd have a good product for you.
Also, make sure you're using
Also, make sure you're using a new razor. You don't want to have to go over that area a few times with a dull one! :-)

Tend Skin is awesome!! You can buy it at Ulta. I have very sensitive legs, too, and it works well to prevent irritation.
Heads up - the first 2-3 seconds stings and then it immediately goes away.
It's a little pricey but it only takes a little and a small bottle should last you a very long time.

Between the red bumps and painful ingrown hair, I was going nuts. I went to a laser hair center and couldn't be happier. Wish I had done it years ago!

Would you feel comfortable in sharing the name of the laser place you used? I've heard good things about Laser for Less; however, my salon started using laser technology (and I guess there's different kinds...?)
